But as many as received Him, he gave them authority to become the children of God

(John 1:12)

Are you seeking the things of God or are you seeking God Himself? Many seek gifting, anointing, church growth -- the things of God but their relationship with God and with others is lacking. Many today worship God, are good church members, serve others, know scripture, but live without the fullness of His love. It's time for a change.

Fearn and I spent many years in ministry witnessing God do spectacular things but all the while missing Him - missing His love. We had the theology of His love, we could teach it, we could act in loving ways, but we had missed the experience of Him loving us.

It's simple: Today, as in the time of Jesus and the first disciples, the Father’s love is still the sole distinguishing element of a Christian. Without the full-on love of the Father, to the degree it is seen by and impacts others, we are just a “resounding gong or clanging cymbal.” (1 Cor. 13:1)

By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:35)
